It can be found at www. athelstonechurch.org.au. Geoff is putting up a “blog” under the section “ Geoff’s thoughts”. Geoff is currently trying to work out how to make a scripture reading about casting out demons work from Mother’s Day!
With Love to the World
The latest devotional resource is available, in the foyer, to those who pre-ordered it. If you would like to be added to t he list for next time, please contact the office. The cost is $5.00 for four months for this daily Bible reading guide based on the Revised Common Lectionary, adapted for use in the Uniting Church in Australia.
Donations to Uniting Communities
It is getting cold, so it would be good to re-commence our donations of canned soup. These go to Uniting Communities who distribute them. Please leave any contributions at the back of the church.

Family Fun Night
On Friday May 20th from 6.00pm we are holding a Family Fun Night here to help us kick off youth group and other events for families and young people. Come along. We will be providing food, games and entertainment.

This magazine is produced by the Uniting Church in South Australia for members to be encouraged in their faith and to learn more about our church. It’s great to take to a family member or friend as a talking point. There are always current copies in the entrance.
The first Life Matters session for 2016 will be on Friday May 6th at at Hope Valley Uniting Church at 10 a.m. The topic will be “Living with Dementia”… We have a speaker from the Alzheimer’s association ,who will be very informative and be able to receive any questions you may have on this topic.
It is an opportunity to learn more about this all to prevalent illness. All welcome. Morning Tea and a chat to follow. More info from Anne and Chris Headland ph. 82653066
